Programs for Treasured Boaters

The Treasure Island Tackers are our women's sailing and social group, which is a member of the Florida Women’s Sailing Association. You can find them busy each week from October through April with a range of activities, such as sailing practice, interclub regattas, social events, and lunch meetings.  Come out and learn sailing basics or increase your skills, race in regattas or help on race and social committees.  If you love being around boats and being part of the fun and friendship of a great group, there’s a place for you with the Tackers!
Here’s your chance to meet and socialize with both new and long-standing club members who share the same love for “messing around in boats”!  Club boating members cruise their boats to planned destinations on the west-central Florida coast. Each cruise provides amenities and special activities specific to that location. Cruises are great opportunities to enjoy boating with family and friends within easy reach of Club TI. Several locations have rooms available overnight, for those who do not own a boat or would prefer to drive and rendezvous with the boaters by land.

The Club Marina offers members a variety of water sports activities.

At our Captain’s Dinners, our “nautically-inspired” members and their guests enjoy a double-entree dinner along with the camaraderie of boating friends. The dinners often feature a speaker from the boating community as a guest of honor. Prior to the Captain’s Dinner, we host a Marina Mixer, which offers a good opportunity to meet and mingle with other club boating members and discuss all things nautical!
Club TI offers Kids Summer Sailing which takes place in our sheltered harbor setting.  In addition to the focus on introducing sailing to beginners, one week is set aside for intermediate solo skippers.  The program runs for several weeks beginning after school is out for summer break.  Call Club Concierge or the Dockmaster's Office in the spring for information.
A fun boating excursion arranged as an exclusive charter for Club TI members and guests is a Shell Key Sunset Cruise!  We have the comfortable 48 foot "Compass Rose" power catamaran to ourselves, complete with a full bar, roomy deck seating and viewing areas, and an on board restroom.  The cruise conveniently departs from the club Marina, where we journey to Bunces Pass to watch dolphins play, then followed by a beach and shelling excursion at Shell Key.  We head back to The Club under the rays of a spectacular Florida sunset!
One of the biggest events of the year for The Club TI Marina is the Annual Treasure Island Holiday Lighted Boat Parade!  The Boat Parade is held on a weekend evening in December and is open to the public. For specifics on boat registration requirements for participation in the parade and volunteer opportunities, call The Club TI Dockmaster’s Office at 727-367-4511 x236
TI Holiday Lighted Boat Parade 2020: Saturday, December 5th, 2020.

Boating safety is a top priority for us.

Please hail the Club TI Marina on VHF channel 16  if you are on the water and would like dockage information.
